3 years agoPlease know that the 5 star rating was for the previous owner, not the new ones. Pizza due Leoni WAS the best! Sad because went there last night. New owners. New name on the front of restaurant. Pizza was like all the others ... cardboard crust, dry, no flavor. Very sad to say that the best pizza place is no more. I wonder what happened. Don't know of any place that truly has the truly authentic N Y style around pizza around here.

3 years agoWe just moved back into the area and stopped in for a pizza, and what a surprise. The pizza was delicious not like a chain pizza place taste,the toppings were fresh and real unlike the chained pizza places. There was a good restaurant flavor and you could tell it was made with care. Since our first time was so wonderful ,we went back a second time and it was thee same as the first. We got a pizza full of toppings and flavor; we found our new pizza home! The prices were good and the pizza was ready and piping hot when I got there to pick it up. Although they only have a few tables in the front for dining in, everything was very clean and the manager always friendly and kind. I really hope they are successful and stay right where they are, We’ve found it hard finding a good pizza place that isn’t a chain with corporate standards and this one is just a family feeding families.

4 years agoAbsolutely amazing food !! First time customer and definitely will be a continued one too !! We ordered two calzones and they were so crispy and filled to the bursting edge with toppings !! Order was ready way before it said and was super hot and delicious!! Look at my other reviews... I only leave honest reviews of every place and you can't get better pizza than here !!! Bbq chicken calzone & Meat Lovers calzone !!

Edited 2 years agoBest damn Italian place in Jax. Caprese was fresh, meatballs app was good with fresh SLICED Parmesan, and the pizza was the best I've had in years. They make their crust fresh and by hand. They give the phrase "mom and pop" real meaning. Delicious food. Small place and very little seating room but worth the drive. I live down the street now, so yep, winning. Worth the trip folks. Sorry, I ate the apps so fast I forgot to get more pics. :).....EDIT: I'll try again in a month or so. Food is not quite the same but good. New ownership not doing things the same as old. Nearly broke my tooth on pits from olives in the pizza. When addressed with issue, I was told that they only put the olives on there, they don't inspect them. You are responsible for what you serve. Period.

4 years agoAbsolutely delicious food. I stopped by after work because my wife and I live in the area and I really wanted some pizza. I got to meet the owner Elton who is very funny and he made my entire order in about 15 minutes. Top quality pizza and the Baklava is delicious. We will definitely be coming back

5 years agoThe restaurant I tried on a whim a bit further than I wanted to drive but it was open until 11PM. Thankfully I took the chance! The food was good. Service was excellent! About the food. The deluxe calzone was loaded with toppings and so delicious. The garlic bread was good too. Can’t wait to go back. Food was cooked to perfection The service- was so good. Come to find out the gentleman that rang me out was the owner. He was so friendly, kind and accommodating. Apparently this shop opened not too long ago. If you’re hungry give this place a try. You won’t be sad.

5 years agoIt was my first time ordering from them and I will be back. The pizza had a good flavor and the toppings were fresh and real unlike the chained pizza places. It had the right amount of cheese and sauce (I hate pizza that is oozing sauce). The prices were good and the pizza was ready within about 15 mins. Although they only have a few tables in the front for dining in, everything was very clean. I really hope they are successful. It's hard finding a good pizza place and this one was excellent.

5 years agoThis was our best restaurant surprise of 2020. Unassuming strip mall pizza place making excellent pizzas- wildly good value compared to similar quality pies elsewhere. We especially appreciate that all of their specialty pizza are available in any size. The toppings are really fresh and piled high. We got a totally vegan pizza for some friends last time and it had so many vegetables on it I thought they’d accidentally put cheese on it! You couldn’t see the red sauce through all the veggies. The other person complaining about slightly burned sides and bottom should google how pizza is supposed to be, we thought it was perfect!
