The service here was very poor. We waited a long time for refills, pizza took way over what it should. It was frustrating waiting this long in a restaurant with a toddler. We did get refunded for a lot of the food for the service which was appreciated. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was not what we expected.
The last three times I have been to this place I have ordered the same thing, a deep dish uno. The first time I ordered was really good with absolutely no complaints, I came back a week and a half later and it was like everything changed. There was so much cheese it didn't even melt properly, and I never thought I would say this about a pizza, but there were too many toppings on it. I didn't even get the same pizza box, instead I got a generic pizza box that barely even closed. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I came back a couple days ago and it was worse than before, I couldn't even manage to eat two slices of the pizza and the rest went to the dog. Not only that but I also got a different pizza box again. They keep the door to the kitchen open and I could hear the bartender and the other lady in the kitchen gossiping and using foul language over their music. Keep the door closed nobody wants to hear that while trying to enjoy a meal. The first time I ordered it felt like someone who knew what they were doing made it and put love into it. These last two times it was apparent whoever made it just threw things together in a pan, cooked it, and didn't even look at it before giving it to me. It's almost as if it was someone's first pizza ever twice in a row. Hopefully the good people didn't quit because it sure seems like they did. If this place cannot even be consistent with their boxes what are they going to be consistent with, because it isn't going to be the food. I do not see this place staying open much longer if they continue to disappoint.
I'm 64 years old and just ate the BEST Pizza that I have ever eaten. The pesto 4 cheese deep dish is phenomenal. It's like momma made!!
