Been wanting to check this place out for awhile and finally made it out last evening. Wow. Incredible food absolutely full of flavor and love. I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and steamed cabbage and every single bite was incredible. It takes some real skill to make something as simple as steamed cabbage taste that delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. Everything was clean and they had some good music playing, making for an overall very pleasurable experience. Can't wait to go back to try more things on the menu!
First time here and the food was amazing I’ve heard good things by family and friends but this was the first time I’ve tried it myself. The food was amazing and the owner even came out a few times to talk to us. He brought us a free side of fried plantains to try, and he was very humble and sociable. It really was a great experience and grateful this place is so close to home. Everything was great and we will be back soon.
Went on vacation to Cedar Point and came across this restaurant in the town, the atmosphere was amazing, music wasn't too loud and it was pretty quiet, the server was super friendly even explaining to us the drinks. We ordered the oxtail and it was absolutely amazing, meat was super tender, cabbage was tasty, and the rice and beans was on point. And for just 28 dollars you get a really generous amount of food, overall everything was absolutely delish and would 100% recommend.
