Uses msg and powder seasonings no real flavor would be nice if the “natural ingredients” place actually used natural ingredients and flavor. Too expensive for what you’re paying for especially in this economy. This place will sink under the current economical climate for sure. Austin is prided on catering to an experience and this restaurant caters to no experience but over priced food. What’s more interesting is when you see a restaurant catered to Asian food and its head chef and Su chef are white girls. It shows in the food. Save yourself from the under flavored and cultural appropriation of asian dishes and go somewhere authentic. If you’re gonna eat curry go to an authentic Indian restaurant. Don’t eat flavorless curry here.
The congee has been a life saver this sickness season. It is warm, comforting and flavorful. Would highly recommend!
