3 weeks agoCalled placed order asked what kind of cheese they use on bean & cheese she said YELLOW (duh) i asked american or cheddar she didn't know I ordered at 1030am before 11 am specials ended. when cashier rang up she didn't give me morning special because she said girl didn't put as specials & I didn't say I want the special for $3.49 she rang up $6.57 for 3 potato & egg /same kind. Then she tells me they (waitresses)don't know what cheese the cooks use in back since they don't work in kitchen but I am sure they could ask. Just like she could have adjusted my price on specials **Other point carne guisada is the red looking gravy we prefer brown gravy. Not the tomato or chili red gravy** NEVER AGAIN that's not good customer service sticking to TAQUERIA LA TAPATIA Presa & 181 So when ordering make sure you ask for the special price

3 months agoI placed a taco order and left the restaurant assuming everything was correct. When I arrived at work and opened the bag, I discovered the tacos were not what I had ordered. I called immediately to let them know about the mistake. The employee who took my order said she didn’t know when the manager would be in and offered no type of resolution. I explained that I was already at work and couldn’t drive back, but she still refused to help or provide any solution. The next day I called again hoping to speak with a manager and was hung up on. When I called back, I was told that the manager “just pops in whenever,” which means there is apparently no consistent management available to handle customer complaints or fix mistakes. Additionally, the employee was wearing an earbud and appeared to be on her phone while taking orders, which may explain why the order was incorrect in the first place. Mistakes happen in any restaurant, but how a business handles those mistakes says everything about their customer service. Unfortunately, in this case there was no accountability, no solution, and no professionalism. I hope management eventually addresses this issue because customers deserve better service than this.

6 months agoI had beef enchilada plate for 9.99 and a tea, not a lunch plate. When I checked out I got charged 16.00 and some change that restuarant is very is very very expensive I will never go there again. The waitress never came to check if I needed more tea or if I needed anything. All the waitresses were sitting down at the table talking when I went to pay one waitress got up quick to the register. I pointed out the price but she said the prices changed advised her to update the prices on the menu cause that's false advertisement of course I got no response. She said prices are going up everywhere I said no taqueria reyes your neighbor has low reasonable prices. So on your lunch menu cheese enchilads are 10.99, but been not lunch plate is 9.99. Why is cheese more expensive then beef it doesnt make sense. So I hope the owner and if they have a manager there to quit fooling your customers. I will stick to taqueria reyes they are the best and don't lie about their prices. So I hope your restuarant succeeds when I pass thru there almost everyday theres hardly people there.

10 months agoHonestly We really loved the food here. the menudo was great! the waitresses were kind and respectful. it was pretty clean and it didnt take long for our food. we definitely will make this our go to for menudo spot for sure!

2 years agoFirst time here, tortillas were soft, homemade you can feel the flour on them..salsas were 2 different but tasty..beans were yummy.. everything was good..

4 years agoPlaza Arandas is a quaint little restaurant tucked away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Menu is reasonably priced. Lunch specials are on par with other restaurants in the area, and come with a tea. I ordered the cheese enchilada lunch special with a sweet tea. The food overall was good and the sweet tea was just right. If you are in the area and looking for Mexican cuisine this is a good spot to satisfy the craving.
