See All ReviewsWanted drinks, but 2 of us were tourists and only had passports from another country, no American issued IDs. They refused to accept them because of their “policy.” It’s a policy that they created on their own, not a LAW. It is not against the law to accept our of country ID’s, we have never had a problem like this anywhere else. Honestly felt discriminatory and left a really bad impression. The wait was also super unorganized. They told us it would be a 35 minute wait, so we left quickly to pump gas nearby, then got called after only 10 minutes and lost our table. Had to wait all over again. Food came out cold too. I got queso with my burger and it wasn’t even runny anymore. Fries were cold and mushy, and the mac and cheese was mushy as well. Also asked for a table for 4 people and they only gave us 3 chairs, so I was awkwardly standing there for like 5 minutes waiting for someone to notice. Overall just not a great experience. Also the tip percentage is backwards, with 25 percent first and 18 percent in the right side, don’t be fooled
Our first impression at Pluckers was disappointing. When we were seated, our table was still soaking wet from being cleaned, and no one attempted to dry it off. I also couldn’t help but notice how dirty the restaurant was overall. There was trash on the floors, and several tables had empty or half-eaten plates that took a while to be cleared. That said, the service itself was good. Our waitress was very nice, and our food came out quickly, in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, my fries were cold when they first came out. I asked for fresh fries, and the next order did come out hot, but the taste was still off. The texture was chewy, and there was no salt, pepper, or flavor to them. The wings were hot, but the sauce was cold, which made the food feel inconsistent. Cleanliness and food quality are both important, and based on this experience, we likely won’t be back.
Tried Pluckers Wing Bar and honestly… not impressed. We waited about 45 minutes, which I could understand a little since they were only about 75% open due to staff training… but still, it felt like a long wait. Service was actually good, no complaints there. But the wings were a letdown. They came out warm, not hot or fresh—honestly seemed like they were reheated. I ordered the spicy garlic and spicy lemon pepper, and my boyfriend got the dry rub ranch and chili lime. The flavors were okay, but nothing special—definitely not worth the hype. On top of that, the place wasn’t very clean, which didn’t help the experience. They also had staff sitting in the patio area while they weren’t even seating customers there, which was a bit frustrating considering the wait. For the price, I expected way better. Overall… overpriced and underwhelming. Probably wouldn’t go back.
