I got the carne asada burrito and fries to go. The burrito was a tad salty, but otherwise delicious. The fries were mostly short little pieces, a little disappointing, but tasted fine. They charge 4% for credit card use FYI, and they had a handwritten sign saying they were raising prices in two days due to inflation. I don’t blame them on either of those, it’s rough out there for restaurants now. The above was $14.65 out the door (credit card); service was fast and friendly. Would definitely go back next time I’m passing through.
I ordered two Chicken Tacos, it was really tender however the flavor was kinda weak . Whatever marinade they use for the chicken could use a bit more flavor in my opinion, and probably not make the tacos drip like a faucet that isn't closed all the way. The look of the tacos themselves wasn't so bad, the actual tastes and enjoyment out of the food was just ok overall. The drink was something I had in the cooler and wasn't purchase from the restaurant. Overall pretty decent customer service I would go back to try out some other things in their menu sometime, maybe not soon but I will definitely be back
The food has a great taste and I love their salsa. Meat quality is better than most but not what you get when you go to carniceria to buy prepped carne asada to throw on thw grill. Service is decent, but can depend on who is there. Its our absolute favorite mexica. Fast food here in lubbock. They dont give much guacamole with any orders BTW, which is annoying. Sometimes I get home and I dont even taste it in my carne asada burrito.
