This was my first time eating at a Polish restaurant. When I asked the woman working there, “what’s good?” another customer answered me, “everything.” I think she might have been right. The friendly woman at the counter patiently explained a few highlights of the menu to help us decide what to order. They make their own pierogis. They have this one dish in which they shape the pierogi dough (the wrapper) into a big tortilla-like shape, put the potato cheese pierogi filling on it and another layer of pierogi dough, basically making a big flat pierogi, like a stuffed tortilla. Then they put sautéed onions, peppers, cheese, and chopped kielbasa on it, add another pierogi “tortilla” and make a quesadilla out of it all. It was so freaking good! Meanwhile my husband had a chicken cutlet as big as a dinner plate and mashed potatoes which is basically his dream meal. It was prepared perfectly. We are both very stuffed and very happy.
First time trying polish food, I got the taste of Poland which came with hunters stew, 4 pierogis, kielbasa and a potato pancake. Everything was amazing and the portions were hearty! The staff were all helpful and caring people and the place had a cozy and family oriented feel. If you’re in the area give polish plate a try it’s worth it!
First time trying polish food and this place was delicious! We had the pulled pork and potato chive pierogis, potato pancake, and chicken cutlet. The staff and ambiance were lovely as well throwing in complimentary pierogis when our food took a little while. They even went above and beyond to accommodate my friends food allergy. I’ll be back!
The borscht soup was amazing!! The golabki was also really good. Pierogis were just okay.
In town for work… found this place and glad I did. Very nice staff and the food is fantastic and authentic! Generous portions … good value! Nice comfy interior… nice covered patio outside. Definitely will be back while in town!
2.16.24 Ample parking. Inside feels more like a fast-food venue with several tables and chairs. The decor is nice and the staff was friendly. What matters most is the food and it was delicious. The mushrooms soup had lots of flavor and lots of mushrooms. The cheese crepe was cooked perfectly, topped with some berries and drizzled with chocolate. The kielbasa taco is genius! The potato pancake was crunchy on the outside and soft inside, as it should be. My friend liked her 3 pierogi varities: blueberry, sauerkraut, cheese/potato. We also tried a couple of the cakes, and oh my gosh. Perfection.
Their service is friendly and the store is super clean. They have some items premade under warmers. They heat up the potato pancakes by order. It was delicious. Forgot to get pictures of the full plates! Below is their buffalo dumpling, their filling was great just would have added seasoning or a sear to the outside. The two sides are sauerkraut and coleslaw. Those were yummy too!
Superb (what I believe to be) authentic Polish cuisine. The quality, taste, and presentation of the food while dining in exceeded my expectations. The front worker (never caught his name) puts in some real work with a great attitude and it didn't go unnoticed. Although my stay here was far longer than I planned, I really enjoyed it more that I anticipated I would. I definitely recommend this place to sit in or take out to enjoy at home! I will be back.
