I walked into Pollo Loco expecting basic chicken and instead got a plate so good it almost made me question my marriage. The grilled chicken was juicy, smoky, and seasoned like the cook caught his spouse cheating with bland food and swore revenge. The tacos slapped harder than a politician avoiding a straight answer. Fresh tortillas, killer salsa, and flavor so good it’ll make you moan a little… the kind of moan that makes people at the next table look over like, “Sir… please calm down, this is a family establishment.” Portions were huge too. They didn’t give me dinner — they gave me emotional support chicken with benefits.
Fast! Priced well & food is EXCELLENT just what we needed before our road trip 🤍 definitely will stop by on the way back
Good food just like home San Antonio
For authentic Mexican food this is the place to ..The staff is friendly and will answer all questions. Breakfast burritos is what I ordered and their hot sauce is good and hot.Well worth to visit for your breakfast needs, they serve bigger than average burritos no need to order two..
Fantastic chicken quesadilla, unreal taco carnitas, great place. Wonderful people, everything you could possibly hope for, great red and green sauce, very fresh
The burritos are good especially the chili relleno Burrito, the chili Rojo burrito is quite spicy I wish it wasn’t with rather the option to get salsa so more people could enjoy it. The Mexican sodas are great and are $2 a pop which is worth it if you try the Grapefruit and Coke well there all good really. Could use a bathroom update. But main reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the chicken has bin dried out quite a few times.
We accidentally found this place on our road trip across the country. I ordered the Steak Torta and my daughter got the Pastor Torta. They were possible the best tortas I have ever had. The bread was light and fluffy, and the meats were perfectly seasoned. It is worth the stop if you are ever in that little town.
I was looking for a quick breakfast stop with breakfast burritos and this place popped up on my search. I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm sure glad I did. The place is small and the drive thru is your best option but the food has big flavor. I ordered a bacon, egg, potato, and cheese burrito and it was a lot bigger than I expected and tasted great. The salsa tasted great as well and complimented the burrito. It was also $4 so you can't beat it. I'll definitely be back.
