Excellent hot pot location for your own personal pot with orderable side dishes. The employees are really attentive and the bathroom is really clean. If you don't want a long sitting at a hotpot restaurant where you have to cook your own meat come to Pop pot! They also have real lamb chops as opposed to slices of processed lamb. I would recommend anyone to come by. It's quiet and they have a lot of great drink selections. I appreciate the price range being affordable
Great experience! really loved that they serve pre-set platters here-you don't have to spend time picking individual ingredients, as everything is already perfectly balanced for you. The food was very light, fresh, and delicious. It's the perfect spot if you want to enjoy hot pot without the extra fuss. Highly recommend!
Its been 2 years since i visted this place and the quality never changed. It's still one of the best place to get a hot pot. I went there very close to closing time but the associate was very sweet. She was very attentive and explained things well. Will definitely go back to this place regularly.
Are you looking for an authentic Taiwanese hotpot experience ? As the weather gets colder, the hot noodle soup cravings increase. There is nothing as comforting as sitting by your own personal hotpot with a real flame, not an induction burner like most places. Both the mild and spicy house sauces are soooo delicious. In reel: 1 沙茶牛肉锅 Beef Satay Hotpot - My favorite classic satay flavor with tender beef slices and tons of veggies. 2 台式羊肉锅 Lamb Hotpot - Was not a fan of this pot and will order a different option next time. The lamb meat was tough and was on the spine. Was looking for more tender meat. 3 鹽酥雞 Taiwanese style chicken nuggets - So crispy and delightful. I love that the meat is sliced into small strips for a crispy texture, with not too much breading. 4 香腸 Sliced Taiwanese Sausages - Perfectly heated and sliced sausages, served with thinly sliced raw gatlic. Eat a bite with garlic and you will be pleasantly surprised how delicious the pairing is.
It’s just a pot full of cabbage. The meats were cheap, and even the good part of the pork was sliced super thin, but there wasn’t much of it. The main difference is the soup base. It could be very spicy! 🌶️ The service was really bad. I’m not sure if it’s Taiwanese culture or just that person. They assigned seats by pointing to us and the table. We had a long wait for a table and a long wait for our order. They also gave us tap water and plastic utensils for the hot pot, which weren’t great.
Pop Pot is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! Their spicy beef Taiwanese soup is amazing — it’s my go-to every time, and I’ve probably had it over ten times now. The flavor is rich, spicy, and super satisfying, with tender beef and fresh ingredients in every bowl. The portions are generous, the service is always friendly, and the place has a nice, cozy vibe. If you love Taiwanese soups or just want something hearty and full of flavor, you’ve got to try Pop Pot!
This Taiwanese hot pot is so good! Sometimes we'll crave something that's a little different from the other hot pot restaurants close by and when we do, Pop Pot is our go to. We always get the korean army hot pot and it's delicious. Normally I am all about the dipping sauce for hot pot, which they do have, but their soup is already flavorful.
I had the pleasure of dining at Pop Pot recently and it was a delightful experience! I ordered the sukiyaki pot and the Taiwanese spicy pot. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the soup was amazing. The level of spiciness was just right, making it enjoyable for everyone. I can’t wait to go back and explore more dishes on their menu. What’s even better is that the price was very reasonable at $19 for both dishes, considering the generous portion sizes. Pop Pot is definitely a place I’d recommend for a tasty and affordable hot pot experience!
