My son in law and daughter took me to Poppys Place. What a great experience! They are regulars there and I live in Florida, but when I come up to visit, we come here for breakfast. This place is a hidden gem 💎 !! The service is great and the staff there are ALL FANTASTIC!! NEVER had a bad experience at Poppys! When I come back to NJ for visits, I really look forward to coming here!

On a road trip my wife and I like to avoid the fast food rest stops and decided to try this place because reviews were good. Located literally 2 minutes off Garden State Tom’s River exit 81 it is just as convenient as a rest stop. It is dated but I found that it added to the charm. The collection of toys records and artwork work from 50s and 60s pop culture is cool. While definitely a local place, the Staff and patrons were very friendly. Service was spot on. We both had pancakes and they were fluffy (it is not common to get fluffy pancakes in a diner!). If you find yourself passing through then give them a try!
