I looked on maps for a place to eat. This place showed photos of really delicious food. That's not what you get.the place was clean and the guy waiting on was friendly. But if they would have showed me a picture of what they served me, I would not have stopped.
Where to start about this place…? The atmosphere was nice. It had small town vibes and their bacon was amazing with a nice smoky flavor. That’s where the praise ends. We sat down about 9:20/9:30 got our drink orders fairly quick and then nothing. Nobody came to check on us, nobody came to take our order, nothing. About 9:45 someone came to take our order. Said they messed up some orders and had to remake some food for people. Not a huge deal accidents happen. I went to order biscuits and gravy and they were out of gravy so I quickly found a replacement. Food didn’t come until about 10:40 so at this point we’ve been there well over an hour. In that hour we got ZERO refills. We weren’t offered refills until we were done eating and ready to leave. Ordered corn beef hash… big mistake. It was so burnt I tasted nothing but char and I had to drown it in ketchup. They got my wife’s order wrong and my son’s order wrong but you bet they still charged us for the upgrades. After we ate we waited another almost 20 minutes for the check to come. When it was all said and done we were there well over 2 hours with only 1 offer of refills and no other interaction.
Im a local, i gave this place a chance ordered the Brunch burger which is CLEARLY on the updated yelp menu received a complete meal with fries for 10.35$ a month later on 10/24/2025 ordered the same meal was charged 11.35$ & i even tipped. NO FRIES OR SIDES.??!! I called back & asked why no sides & was told the Brunch burger is not on the menu & I didn’t ask for fries. Usually a properly trained person with common sense will ask if you want any fries or sides. I was never asked or told this. So now this place is greedy just like every other restaurant now up charges for fries!!! WOW. Would have been nice if i was told that.This is what you get with lack of training & quality. NOBODY CARES ANYMORE. Sad. I will be taking my $$ elsewhere. I suggest ppl do the same. So for 12.35$ i got just a burger in a box, no lettuce no tomatoes no cheese no utensils NOTHING. That is NOT a good deal Feeling like i got ripped off….if this was my establishment I would actually go the distance & make things right especially in a small town where people talk & reputation is everything!! Go to Reds Root Beer Stand instead way better bang for your buck!!!
