a month agoBest pulled pork I've had! Sandwich is awesome, loaded baked potato is so good. It's run by a couple very friendly guys who love bbq and serve it each Saturday.

11 months agoExcellent BBQ!! Great prices! Very friendly and hospitable! We got the pork ribs, brisket, and chicken. All three were very delicious! Would most definitely go back!

a year agoGreat atmosphere, be sure to ask the owner he will tell you a funny story. Super good Texas BBQ and a great outdoor venue, worth the drive out. Beautiful drive by the lake.

a year agoWe drove out to eat at Porky’s on a referral on how good it was. The brisket sandwich was delicious with big chunks of meat. Owner and staff were friendly and great. Well worth stopping by…delicious.

3 years agoOutdoor place for amazing smoked BBQ! Lots of tables, live music when it's nice outside, friendly staff, good prices. And the BBQ is awesome! The beans were thick and flavorful, with chunks of meat. I had a brisket sandwich and my wife had the loaded baked potato, both were delicious. Worth the short drive from Burnett, TX.

3 years agoStaying at Canyon of the Eagles this weekend (great place) and my husband saw this place on Google. I’m always down for bbq - walking up, my mouth started watering because the smells were **amazing** Simple seating with picnic tables and awnings The owner and friend were jovial and friendly The food… hands down, best Bar-B-Que I’ve had since we came to Texas. Flat out. The sauces were amazing The “beans on the house” were the ‘stick to your ribs, meaty’ type The pulled pork sandwich had layers of flavor, the meat moist and delicious. Then the ribs fell off the bones and we were blown away by their texture and (can I use flavor again??). The sauces were the best I’ve had from the Carolina’s through Tennessee and Mississippi to Texas. We actually talked him out of a bottle! (Made my husband so happy!!) Definitely worth a stop, but come at 11! They cook Friday through Saturday morning and, once they sell out, they’re done. (Usually by 1:00pm, says Randy).

6 years agoExcellent pulled pork sandwich. $8 for a sandwich, chips and a drink. Awesome ribs too! Super nice owner, staff and entertainment.

Edited 2 years agoRandy and his team is able to turn out some of the best BBQ in central Texas. Known for their BBQ'ed pork, but don't forget to try the "off the chain" chicken and amazing beans. They are only serving from noon on Saturdays, until they are sold out, dont arrive too late. So, worth the trip to meet Randy and take the opportunity to gobble up some BBQ that is still a hidden gem of East Lake Buchanan.
