We had lunch here and even though the restaurant was busy with the after church crowd, the service was excellent, helpful and friendly. I had the shrimp salad and it was fresh and delicious. My husband's burger was tasty. There was a mistake on his order, but the staff was super quick to correct it and very apologetic. My daughter had the catfish and enjoyed it. Our server checked on us often and kept our drinks refilled. This place is a gem in Elizabethton!

First time for wife and I to try Puerto Nuevo and we were impressed. With my wife from the southwest she's a good judge on Mexican cuisine and if meets her approval then it's got to be good 👍. The drinks were beautiful and flavorful, but could use just a little more "kick" to be enjoyable. We will be back even though it's a 30 mile drive for us.
