The Japanese-inspired food here is amazing, and so is the atmosphere, but the service is very lacking. Some employees have a really bad attitude and I have seen my plate of food just thrown onto the counter when it was ready. Sometimes if certain employees are working I don’t even want to come in because service can be so rude. Again, the food is amazing but service can be very unfriendly.
Waiting 30 minutes to not even be served tea is ridiculous! I don't know why you'd tout yourself as a cafe with a robust menu and only have one person (ONE person) working the counter, making food, and drinks. Management clearly needs to hire more people.
Acai bowl was tasty but the description of bowls was confusing. It was essentially a bowl full of acai base without any fruit on top. This was surprising to me as usually they come with fresh fruit on top and the description on the chalk board indicated it would be served that way.
