I recently stopped by Puro Taco and had an amazing experience that definitely deserves a shoutout. I ordered their loaded fries, and they were absolutely next level. The fries were perfectly crispy and piled high with tender, flavorful meat, rich melted cheese, fresh chopped onions, and cilantro, all topped with a creamy drizzle that brought everything together. Every bite was packed with bold flavor and tasted fresh and well-prepared. The portion size was generous, making it perfect for sharing—or not, because it’s that good. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients and how everything is put together. The balance of textures and flavors was spot on, from the crunch of the fries to the savory, juicy meat. On top of the food, the overall vibe and service were great. The staff was friendly, quick, and made the experience even better. If you’re in San Antonio and craving something satisfying, flavorful, and different from the usual, Puro Taco is definitely worth checking out. I’ll absolutely be coming back to try more from their menu!
Great food but they are not open on Sunday. I went there because it said its open and its not.
The quesabirria tacos are a must! Authentic, and at a good price- the order comes with 3 tacos and the consome, they were ready pretty fast, the staff is very polite, and the seating area is pretty comfortable.
