Not sure why there's so many terrible reviews. We were seated quickly, given water and checked on multiple times before we ordered. Tried the pork and kimchi dumplings (tasted great) and the Korean fried chicken rice (also great). They do make you pay ahead of receiving food which is the only thing I don’t like because they make you put in the tip before you know if service is good. They let you pick the percent though unlike some other places that automatically charge 18%.
TERRIBLE and hugely expensive for the crappy food you get. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want deadly salty ramen soups, hostile if not downright rude servers who demand payment up front BEFORE you even get your food, and very high prices for the terrible food you get in a noisy place. My ramen soup had a stuck-together clod of half-uncooked ramen noodles in the middle! And you get to watch their sad-looking “cooks” eating their own food in their sad little corner while you wait. The only reason I didn’t ask for my money back was because I had a flight to catch and could tell from the rude servers that I was going to have a time-consuming fight on my hands. Believe it or not, the same aggressive servers choose their own big tip on the automatic payment terminal and stare at you when they hand you the terminal with a “I dare you to reduce my massive tip before you’ve even seen our food” look on their faces. Save yourself!!Even a bad sandwich elsewhere at Newark Airport is better than this crap. Shame on the airport for offering such a pathetic place
This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. It is expensive and the food is terrible. I was told by the chef that this disgusting broccoli was normal and “how it comes”. I suspect that using questionable ingredients is not the only thing wrong with this place. The Korean fried chicken was clearly frozen from a bag and drenched in some generic sauce. EDIT: The music is incredibly loud and sounds like license free music intended to dissuade customers from lingering. Go to the Wendy’s.
