This place was amazing! We had a great Sunday breakfast here. I could have sat at the counter all day. I will definitely be coming back!
I first went to the Quaker diner probably 45 years ago, and this was my first visit in probably 30 or more years, and it was like I'd still been there yesterday. I'm not normally much of a diner guy, but the folks here are so friendly and the food is excellent (loved my pancakes) and just a nice vibe. I swear many of the same decorations are there from my youth. If you want a good meal and the traditional dinwr experience, this is the place. I hope to be back again 30 years from now!
Gotta love that old diner ambience. While the menu may be limited, I think the offerings are varied enough that most diners will find something that hits the spot. Staff is friendly, if a bit harried. And, yes, the booths and bar seats are sized for a smaller, thinner diner than today's typical clientele, but isn't that part of the old diner ambience?
