2 weeks agoI wanted to try this place based on the food pics online and the aroma when I walked in the store. Unfortunately, I did not get any food. I ordered the $9.99 2 piece catfish basket. The gentleman asked if I'd like pickles, onions or hotsauce. I asked for just pickles & onions, and my total was almost $13. How?!?!? It should have been only $10.81. Oh, he didn't tell me that they charge extra for what normally comes with a fish basket elsewhere. Oh and when I was going to pay with my card there were additional fees to increase my $9.99 meal even more. Needless to said I left without food. IF you decide to go there...pay in CASH and DO NOT order anything extra! Signed, Truly disappointed 😞 😥

a month agoI always order chicken tender combo, never fails to satisfy. Would recommend to come 30 mins early during rush hour, it tends to get a bit busy with the popularity of the food. Again this is not fast food so do expect a wait but overall. Enjoy coming into this establishment

3 months agoOne word: scammers. My husband and I visited them today. I ordered first, and then he ordered and paid. He wasn’t paying attention to what I ordered or how much it was, so he paid what he was told. He paid $61.45 and tipped $4 to round it up to $65.45. The cashier then gave him a folded up receipt. He sat down, checked the receipt out of habit and saw $47.27 with suggested gratuities listed. The highest one, 30%, would bring the total to $61.45. Then he realized that the cashier added the 30% upfront and never informed him. That’s foul. The receipt shows their cake business name, but it’s attached. Anywho, we ordered 2 catfish baskets, one with shrimp and a 4 pc tender basket plus a side of okra. The sides were fresh, and the tenders were fine. But that fish?? Not seasoned underneath the sauce that we paid extra for, NOT catfish. It’s so thin that there’s more cornmeal than fish.

3 months agoIt was mid, ordered the 2 fish 3 shrimp combo, red beans and rice and a peach cobbler cake. Waited 51 mins for the food, saw 2 people that ordered after me get their food before me. Owner was very friendly with everyone, handing them their food, asking them to check it...except me. Handed me the food and said here. No biggie, they got posted on tiktok and have more business. I get that, but seeing others get food when they ordered after you doesn't seem right. Being told 25 to 30 mins and waiting 51 also doesn't seem right. To top it off though, I got home and noticed there were no shrimp. Same thing happened to the guy that was getting his order when I was placing mine, he left and came right back in because they were missing. Guess I should have checked my order before leaving. The fries also had no seasoning on them....like at all. I also ordered lemon pepper seasoning, didn't taste it at all on the fish and well, there were no shrimp so no idea if it was on them or not. I tried to call but, they don't take calls, just an automated system that allows you to text them. It's been 3 hours since I text and no response. For $30, was not worth it, especially when I didn't get what I ordered and can't get a reply. Will not be going back.

3 months agoWe went to order 4 pieces of catfish, and three shrimp. It took over an hour for us to receive our food. I understand that they may have been busy but I saw my cousin there as well and he stated he had been waiting 45 minutes for a catfish basket that had 2 pieces of fish. The wait is HORRENDOUS! Not only that, as I’m waiting, I see a live roach on the lemon pepper sauce bottle. It was a bad experience for me and I won’t be back.

6 months agoOrdered the wing combo with fries. The fries are breaded and they're good but, I'm not a big fan of breaded fries. The wings...so good. They are very crispy. I got them plain and they are seasoned well. The Texas toast paired well with the wings. They were made to order but the wait wasn't very long. The owner is a really nice guy. These are the places I love finding. I can't wait to go back and try the catfish. If you haven’t been, you're missing out.

7 months agoHands down the best fried fish and hush puppies I’ve had. My daughter said their lemon pepper wings are 10 out of 10. Great portions and everything was hot and fresh. Different variety of pound cakes. melts in your mouth. Good customer service. Definitely will be back again to try more on their menu.

8 months agoThe banana pudding cake was so moist and good to me! If I'm in the area I will definitely stop by again. If your looking for a home made dessert check them out. They are located inside the C Store.
