See All ReviewsThere was only one other table during my visit. That should've made me turn back. Firstly, service was good. Host was kind. Not necessarily outstanding. Food was ready in only 5-10 minutes maximum. Ramen was not very good. The broth lacked a layer of flavor. Host asked me if I wanted an egg and I said yes, I didn't realize it would be an extra charge (?) Unfortunately the egg was too sweet for my liking. The chashu as well was also strangely sweet. It wasn't tender enough for me to pull apart with my chopsticks. I didn't enjoy either of those toppings. Noodles were okay, nothing amazing. Unfortunately as someone in the restaurant industry, I recognize them instantly by texture. I had a considerable amount of broth left and I only ate maybe 1/4th of my egg. It was too disappointing for me to finish or bring home. Hot green tea was a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it. I expected pre-brewed tea since it was like $3.50 for the cup ? Too expensive. A lot of Japanese restaurants just have it for free. Host did offer to add more hot water later. Not sure if that means a fresh tea bag as well. I have been here once before and I don't remember it being so bad. Maybe food cost has gone up and they had to cut corners. Either way, I don't plan on recommending this restaurant or coming back at all. Maybe the star of this place is supposed to be the izakaya part, not the ramen. I came here out of laziness since it was one of the closest ramen spots in my area. This experience will teach me, I guess.
I truly see why this business had no customers when we went there. The noodles came out of the refrigerator right in front of me already cooked and they hardly gave me any broth with my Ramen and when they packed it up for my husband, they took some of the broth back it looked like the worst Ramen house I have ever been to in my life, and the bowls are too small for the price this is my honest consumer opinion. They should really be ashamed of their selves.
Had the Tsukemen, and enjoyed it. Great flavor and quality noodles. Also had the Big Tebasaki (chicken wing) and the breading and quality of the chicken was to notch🙌 Chicken Karaage, also good equality and not frozen bought carried at many places these days. Good to see UCC Oolong tea... I've been here before and had been awhile since eating here, but good to see the quality is still very good
