5 years agoStopped here while biking the White Pine Trail. GREAT menu, and there are really light and healthy options to choose from to power up mid bike trip. Currently (April 2021) it is walk up order and dine outside due to staff shortages, but it is FULL menu.

5 years agoEverything we had was delicious! We ordered at a counter and they served it to the table. The outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the river and Dam. No issues :) the Blueberry Mohito here is BOMB.

5 years agoWe shared a couple appetizers on the patio on beautiful September afternoon. Service was pleasant and efficient. The bruschetta was fabulous with very fresh tasting ingredients. The pulled pork tortilla chips were good but didn't hold up quite as well. The pork and the BBQ sauce needed to find each other on those chips, and often they didn't. Also the pork was not drained very well which left a lot of juice at the bottom to make some of the chips soggy. All in all, however, a pleasant experience.

Edited 4 years agoFantastic! They have a very great selection of food to pick from. I placed an online order for lunch to-go and the process was quick and easy. I will definitely be going back!

Edited 5 years ago5 stars today (June 10, 2020)-modified dining for covid 19. Natasha was a great waitress just enough help and no extra “hanging around” as well as sanitary with her table side visits. Masks on to sit was a perfect compromise! Thanks for honoring science and delicious food. Electric strawberry lemonade was divine. 4 stars today-July 2019. We love Ramona’s but will not be purchasing anything in one time use plastic as of this year so this means no desserts. 😢 Delicious food and great atmosphere. **Please see photograph attached to this review for biodegradable Takeaway packaging referred to in reply. (June 10, 2020) November 23, 2019. Trying again based of response however when I raised the concern about the one time use plastic last time the guy rolled his eyes at me, so...yeah. Moscow mule was way too sweet. Looking forward to the seasonal Mac-n-cheese. 💚 Most of the desserts still wrapped in one time use plastic.😢7 choices we won’t be taking home with us. Oops there’s one more. Just watched someone wrap another one in plastic wrap. 🌍 😔 That’s 8 in plastic. Soup and salad (chopped) and macaroni was wonderful. Soup was French onion and was one of the better ones I’ve had. Still 4 stars.

6 years agoFive stars all the way. I've been here multiple times and the food is always on point. Interesting and we'll thought out flavor combinations. Fast and friendly service. In the summer the deck is awesome with a great view. Do not miss Romona's Table. They are doing it right!

6 years agoThe carrot cake and the white sangria were amazing. We weren't crazy about the red sangria but it was a nice visit for a very yummy dessert. This is at a very cute location in Rockford by the Dam. They have inside and outside seating. They have a cool upstairs area. Their baked goods all looked amazing. It was a hard choice but I think we made a great one.

7 years agoA nice addition to the options in downtown Rockford, they offer a little bit of a different twist on usual food options though the variety will cost you. The waitstaff are great and the outdoor seating area provides an nice spot to watch folks moving up and down the trail as well as the goings on are the dam. The desserts are the best thing going here.
