Today my server was a young girl. I was by myself so I think she got upset about it a solo for her turn. I tip her 20% still she could it make more with me but her service was terrible.
Best margaritas in town. The food is always fresh, and flavorful. I like to try something different every time, and haven’t been disappointed yet. The service is fast, professional and friendly. Prices are as expected. Angel is our favorite server!
Packed house, full parking lot, but still got seated fast 🙌 The place is huge, the food was delish, prices were solid, and the service? Hands down the BEST ever. Already planning my next visit ✨🍴
I grew up in Magnolia and left pretty soon after highschool. Came back to the area this weekend for a friend's wedding and took a trip down memory lane! My family went to Ranchero's just about every Saturday with my grandparents after church. I still remember their original location around the corner. I grew up on this food and have always considered their salsa and chicken enchiladas to be the standard. This did lead to many disappointments later in life. 😂 But coming back it is absolutely just as good 11 years later! What a joy it was to come back here today. Beautiful restaurant, absolutely stunning wall murals and cultural art. Food was out quick, everyone was very friendly and kind, very attentive service. Rancheros will forever be my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant. Until next time!
If you’re searching for the best Mexican food in The Woodlands, look no further than Ranchero’s ! Their brisket quesadillas are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, packed with tender, flavorful meat, and perfectly crisp tortillas. The Tacos Del Mar are equally exceptional, with fresh shrimp, bacon and savory flavors that will leave you craving more. To top it off, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring an outstanding dining experience every time. Highly recommend Ranchero for anyone who loves authentic, top-quality Mexican food!
I stopped for a late lunch on Saturday. I ordered the ribeye steak which is served on a hot skillet with onions, peppers and guacamole, rice, charro beans and flour tortillas. I ask for grilled medium and it looked really good, but it was a little tough to eat. It seemed to be pre-broiled to tenderize the meat and then grilled. I would recommend to go with the beef or chicken fajitas and not the steak Rancheros offers. Chips and salsa were good with a Margarita that I also ordered. Overall food rating on 1-10.....I would rate the food at 6.
Chips aren't freh but not bad, no draft beers, clean place, service was average. Food could be better but wasn't bad. The atmosphere is the best part. This place has the potential to be a hot spot just isn't there.
Ranchero's is one of the best Mexican Food restaurants in North Houston. The environment is big, open, comfortable, tavern-like that is meant to hang out and enjoy good food and good times. It also has an adjacent bar attached. The food is authentic, and provided in generous servings. The service is friendly and low-pressure, and the prices are reasonable, especially the lunch menu which is available 7-days a week.
