Mom and I needed to eat after running errands so we decided to eat here as Navarro options too far. I had ordered takeout here before so got same thing a bean and nopales torta that I love it comes w fries. My madre ordered a menudo she wasnt a fan of saying hers was better😅
I'm begin by saying that this was our first time visiting. The menu looked promising, the parking lot was well lit. And plenty of seats. Everything started off great, quick service with chips and salsa and drinks. However once the food order was placed everything changed. I feel like maybe racial profiling? Customers that came in well after we placed our order got there food 20 minutes before we did. A large table of 6 are getting multiple plates brought out by one person. Here is the biggest catch. The first kids plate arrives, chicken tenders and fries. 5 minutes go by, the second kids plate arrives. 2 chicken enchiladas. Another 5 minutes a single bowl of pepper gravy for the tenders. Another 5 minutes and my plate comes out. At this point we ask how much longer for my wife's plate. We are told 5 more minutes for shrimp tacos. Another 5 minutes goes by and I'm given a bowl of charro beans. At this point we ask for my wife's order to be changed to a to go order, and if you guessed that it was another 5 minutes before we got it given to us, you would be correct. In total we spent over an hour while others got food, ate, paid and left before we ever did.
