It's a million degrees out so I was a little skeptical about eating outdoors. I'm so glad we did! Such perfectly cooked fried shrimp basket you can eat the tails!! Sliced brisket sandwich made hubby so happy. Cold beer, water with ice and a slight breeze on a hot day under a shady tree and I loved it. Great service!! Clean tables and bathrooms. We'll be back!!!
Randy's is everything you should expect out of a barbecue shack on the side of an active highway. The brisket was tender and juicy on some delicious Texas toast. The okra was freshly fried with no stem. Hush puppies were crunchy and delicious. Absolutely love this place.
My pulled pork, sandwich bread, and fries were delicious. However, one of my friends had very dried shrimp. Prices were decent. Another friend described the brisket as just ok and that it needed to be chopped. Many menu items weren't available. Service was slow, but our server was very kind and polite. I'm glad I tried it after driving past it so often, but I don't know that I'll be back.
