Lovely food. Very satisfying. Polite, friendly staff. We felt welcome to take our time after the meal. They could have been quicker clearing away the plate but maybe felt that would look like a hint we neded to leave. Basic decor but felt authentic. No annoying music which was good for my ADHD. Will definitely come again.
The food is consistently fabulous - I've never been disappointed! We've tried the vegetarian and meat mixed platters and both were fab (some dishes are a bit spicy, for anyone a bit sensitive, but there are mild dishes so you'll be grand). Only mild issue has ever been that none of the staff speak brilliant English so sometimes we've had communication errors (most recently, receiving enough food for 2 people, when there were 5 of us, previously not being able to communicate which dishes are / are not available) but it's a fairly minor frustration and we'll keep going back because the food is fab😊😋 It's a shame they're not on Just eat/Deliveroo/Uber anymore, because that made ordering that bit easier, but so it goes 🤷
This restaurant has been my go to for any treat eat. I loved my time in Ethiopia and it was great to have an option to taste it here. However, to say I’m disappointed today is an understatement and I can see it’s under new management and it’s obvious. My food arrived cold, but it was also of poor quality with broken injera, and the portion size so small that you could see the bottom of the delivery box before even starting. I tried it, and had to leave it. Perhaps they could get in touch with the previous manager and get some tips.
