Best BBQ I've had in years. We got a three meat plate to try a sampling and were not disappointed. Everything was AMAZING. Friendly people and good prices. If we lived locally this would be a frequent stop.
Extremely friendly local people with some of the best brisket in the area… i ordered the dirty fries and they were PHENOMENAL would HIGHLY recommend this place if youre in the jefferson area
Absolutely fantastic. The brisket is smoked to perfection and all but melts in your mouth. It's incredibly flavorful & doesn't need sauce, but you should try the sauce anyway, especially the Carolina style golden sauce, which I've not seen much in this area. Don't miss the pinto beans stewed with brisket and tomato or the cone pone-style cornbread. The people could not be friendlier, and the pitmaster himself comes out to make sure customers are happy with their orders. Red Dirt is absolutely delicious & a hidden gem. Get here before Texas Monthly finds out about it & the line gets long.
