This place is exactly what you need. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the nicest guy. Its alittle old school but for what youre getting its absolutely worth it. 10/10 I'll be back multiple times this week plus many more.
We love Reds. I used to eat here daily about 20 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit (well maybe the prices but that is expected). It cost about 8 bucks for a hoagie and they are worth every penny. The hours are a little different. This is owned and operated by just the one guy and he is great to talk with. I put my wife onto this place a year back and anytime it is open (when driving by) we stop at T-Hill to get cash and head back for hoagies. The only downside about the place (reason for 4 star in service) is that it is a cash only place. This is why I hit up the gas station a few blocks away for a fee free ATM.
Super friendly with delicious food! My favorite is the Regular Sub with everything. You have try it! Some bar stool seating inside and on-street metered ($.25/30 minutes) parking. Enjoy!
Small, nostalgic sub/hoagie shop with excellent prices. It's a CASH ONLY establishment but does have an ATM on premises. They only sell whole subs/hoagies. A hot whole meatball or cheesteak is only $7.00 for a 10" to 12" inch sub. Most cold sandwiches are $7.00 to $8.00. Can't beat the prices. In the attached picture is a: "Regular" which includes: Cooked salami, ham & cheese. Cost: $5.00 (Cash Only Accepted). Dine-In or Take out. No Delivery available.
Ordered 2 steak hoagie on Friday. They had a very wierd taste to them. Had to throw them away. Was very unusual because I love ❤️ their hoagies
Welcome to another edition of SGW's Local Eats & Take Outs review! Happy Saturday and it's Kielbasa Festival time! Reds Subs is doing a festival special today, mini subs for just literally 2.00. I got the kielbasa mini sub, hey you can't come to a kielbasa festival and not get kielbasa. It comes with your choice of toppings. I did hot mustard and onion's. His kielbasa is homemade, even though this was a mini sub it was packed with gigantic flavor! It was a nice thick piece, the bun was very soft and very delicious. Now this did not fill me up. I also got the Red's Regular Sub for just 5.00. it's a 12 inch with the basics items such as let, Tom, onion's, and I dropped the oil for mayo. Always a great sub you get from Red's. Oh my gawd! So we recently came back from CA and been dying for a real hoagie. The place we used to go to had closed, and wasn't near by anyways. On our recent shopping trip we decided to stop at Reds as it gave us that vibe of "good hoagies". It did not disappoint, can't even explain how fantastic they are. You. Must. Try!!! Will become part of our monthly restaurant rotation.
We showed up 10 minutes before close only because we didn't realize they close at 6. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone( I hate when people do that to me at my work). He graciously made us 3 hoagies and honestly made my day! Then when I tried to tip him for not letting me starve he refused to take it!!! Great subs, excellent service!
