See All ReviewsFood was just ok, I remember going to Plymouth Mtg, location many times and food was great along with service. Everything was room temperature except the kids food which was scolding hot hot hot. Go figure. It was an off time not prime dinner rush-- so not sure why service was SLOW SLOW SLOW. I still gave nice tip because she did do her job, just not with any urgency whatsoever. The place was FILTHY tons of food and junk all over the floors/ in carpeted areas, nobody cleaning up. Plenty pf people standing around, again was very slow time of the day. A not so terrible but also sort of disgusting thing was a guy at the food expediting window eating his personal yogurt from container, again its food, but just kind of seedy/ unprofessional as a food service professional. Ribs were good- too smoky for my personal taste, also had the meatloaf, also good but SPICY in a weird way that meatloaf should not be. Would of ranked food better if it was above room temperature. I gave this a chance when they first opened, in which I unexpectedly was there on the literal day they opened, lettuce was wilted and service let much to be desired. I am not going to go a third time. Sadly will go the extra 12 minutes to other location.
I wanted to take a moment to share a recent experience my family and I had at Redstone during our visit to the Promenade area. After stopping by HomeGoods, we decided to come in for a meal and I’m truly glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a welcoming and professional staff, and the establishment itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The service we received was nothing short of outstanding. Maria, our server, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, which we greatly appreciated as first-time visitors. Her level of care and professionalism truly elevated our experience. As a local Realtor and property manager who lives nearby with my family, I value businesses that provide this level of service to the community. Experiences like this not only leave a lasting impression but also encourage us to return and to recommend your establishment to others. Please extend our sincere appreciation to Mariah for going above and beyond. We will definitely be back.
We have been to the Redstone on Concourse twice. The first time the food was phenomenal! Service was great and the atmosphere as well. This time was not as impressive. The atmosphere is still great and our server was very attentive and pleasant. Our food was pretty poor though. I got the NY strip with asparagus and mashed potatoes. I ordered the steak medium rare but it was medium-medium well. It had a large strip of gristle running the length of it. It severely lacked salt as well. Steak is surprisingly simple to cook…salt is your friend…hard sear…serve promptly (don’t kill it twice by heat lamp). My husband got a snapper and pasta special. The fish tasted very fishy and not fresh. The pasta itself was flavorless. My one son got chicken fingers and complained that they didn’t taste good. He’s a kid and they tend to do this, but for the sake of argument we tried them. They were over cooked and tasted as if fried in old oil. The buffalo cauliflower was very good as was the accompanying sauce. The calamari was also very good. I had been asking to go back since our first experience was so great. I’m sad to say how disappointing the meal was this time and as a result we probably won’t return.
