a year agoFinally was downtown when this place was open. Seemed under staffed. Can't really sit down and eat inside unless you eat in the entry/waiting area. Some tables outside. 2/3 were chained off. We just removed the chain so we could sit and eat. Were out of two of the items my Son wanted. Price per portion of food is absurd. Tiny portion of quesso with the chips. Kind of felt like we're a nuisance for even being there. In my eyes a 6 dollar taco better be banging. Ate our food, left hungry and bought more food somewhere else. I see the place having potential if several issues were corrected. The way it stands I would rather eat at the Grass Hopper and be full when I leave for a fair price. Paid just under twenty bucks for this, no drinks. Will not be going back.

a year agoBaja tacos thumbs down. Tequila lime was ok.. Not sure about the 6$ per taco… not even the best taco places charge that. It’s almost just as much for a taco as it is to add jalapeño, or queso, or salsa… I’d rather be beat over the head than pay 6$ for one of those tacos again.

2 years agoVery Americanized and poor quality for the stiff price point. Definitely paying for convenience over substance but not inherently terrible. Just mediocre.

2 years agoWe were so happy to see a cool taco place open up downtown- but you never know how a new restaurant will be so we took a chance on trying them….. oh my god!!!!!!!! They were so friendly on the phone and in person and their menu has a wide variety of FANTASTIC taco concoctions, but still including some delicious sounding classic taco combinations. But a menu description isn’t enough to know if a restaurant is good… we tried four of their tacos tonight and 3 dips. Pork Soda taco, Jerk Shrimp taco, Blackened Mahi taco, short rib taco, queso, Mexican elote dip, and salsa…. Every bite was EXCEPTIONAL. If you’re hungry, RUN DONT walk to this place. We also ended up finding out that their parent company is our favorite restaurant and Tecumseh hotspot: Tecumseh Brewing Co! Consider us regulars here.

2 years agoWow, so good! We tried all 6 of the veggie tacos and a pork one. They were amazing, so much flavor. We had it delivered to Mammoth, which was very quick and friendly. Looking forward to being able to eat in there.
