The restaurant is clean inside and the waiters are nicely dressed. I think this place is supposed to be fancy. The food is horrible, however. Considering the quality of food you can get almost anywhere else, the prices and quality of food is very bad. Our rice was cold and the meat was absolutely flavorless.
I have been to restaurants all around the world. The service at the Louisiana restaurant is compared to a Michelin star place. The waiting staff has been trained exceptionally. We ordered a flounder and it is compared to one by the bay. The rice and beans were delicious! It’s meant to be something so simple, yet the salad at the beginning was fresh and cold, the food was warm and delicious. However, above all, service is their staple.
I've been coming here off and on business trips and or with family. They are friendly and very consistent. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. One entrance comes through the kitchen - now that is confidence in your cleaning and organization! Food is very tasty and plentiful. I personally typically get the chicken cordon Bleu which is huge and tasty. One note - certain dishes come with an odd pairing. For example my chicken comes with a few fries and onion rings. Not bad just different.
