This place is not fancy by any means. But what they lack in decor, they make up for in character and flavor. The ladies who work here are very friendly and welcoming. I am not super familiar with Honduran food, but I have been more exposed to it recently since moving to the area. This restaurant highlights baleadas as one of the main dishes they make, but they do have entrees on the menu. Caveat: the menu is on the wall, posted on a posterboard, but I believe they might even have more items than what is posted. It was slightly overwhelming because I wanted to try it all. I was going to sit at the counter, but the ladies encouraged me to sit at one of the tables, because they said the chairs were more comfortable and they wanted me to enjoy the experience. I ordered the sopa de res (beef soup) and it did not disappoint. It was a significant bowl with plenty of vegetables and beef bones. It came out pippin hot and with a good portion of rice on the side and some fresh tortillas. Overall, this place is great for an authentic Hondorian dish. They also have some El Salvadorean dishes as well. It also is very well priced. I spent $22 for the entree, a fresh pineapple juice, and a colada to go.

They make the best baleadas and pupusas in Miami! A family run business con pura corazón. I have loved this place for 16 years and counting! The soups are fire too.
