I ate here about 2 years ago and it was very good. Stopped by today and was very disappointed. It was very dry the links was dry and tips was chewy and taste old. Very sad because he is a nice guy and prices and portions was decent but quality not good today.
I thought this place was dirty, when it wasn't and I thought the food wasn't good either, but was pleasantly surprised that the chicken wings and rib tips with bbq sauce actually hit..This place is a criminally underrated rib and chicken joint(Chop Steaks too)just off the food alone and I bet that not one rib shack in the city can beat their prices ..
I went earlier this week. Was craving BBQ so I was in the area and stopped in to purchase a "Today's Special Mini Tip." Did not meet my expectations. My Hot Link was good so hard, the inside of it was dry. SO DRY as though it was from a couple of days before and placed back on the fire 🔥 each day. I know when they were selecting my pieces, they saw how burnt and dry that food was. The fries were very good being soaked in the sauce. The tips were so so. Would I go back again? No, because there are too many other BBQ places in the city.
