My first time , I put 4 stars on service , because I was behind a man and hadn't ordered yet , another man came behind me and was getting his order before getting me , yeah they knew him a regular but still rude. But hey it is what it is , I still got my order taken , and with the food - my only issues was that I ordered all meat barbacoa, and there was still fat in it and greasy but other then that it was still good barbacoa, I still recommend this place for your barbacoa... I was going to get menudo but I was walking home and it was hot , so next time I go ill get menudo to see if its good ... I cant say anything about that .. I do love thier corn tortillas- those were really good ... Over all its a really good place to get barbacoa near downtown...
Great food and very friendly staff. The service is speedy and attentive. The only thing missing was someone to push me out to my car in a wheelchair after eating a pound of barbacoa and a bowl of menudo.
Supporting local business..Hubby tried this place today. Special $26.26 for a pound of barbacoa & a pack of cold flour tortillas. He also bought a pint of frijoles borracho/charros?... Beans were pale , no flavor at all. Itty bitty pieces of chicharron. No onions, peppers or cilantro. My photo might look different in color. Trust me. Water with beans..What a burn!! $32+ total. Never again.
