a month agoI finally checked this spot out and honestly, this place is like food heaven packed into one building. You walk in and it’s just stall after stall of amazing smells—burgers, tacos, ramen, desserts, everything. I ended up bouncing between a couple spots and every single thing was ridiculously good. The vibe is loud, busy, and fun, like the whole place is built for people who just love good food. If you live anywhere near Riverside and haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. 🍔🌮🔥

2 months agoShrimp Shack has the bomb shrimp and grits!! Definitely a must try if you're into Louisiana cuisine. Very hearty. I can never finish in one sitting. What else do they have here? Burger, sushi, pizza, ice cream, vegan options, beer, cocktails and much more. Bathrooms are clean. Great place to grab lunch and dinner. A little bit of something for everyone.

4 months agoFun Family dinner out, near the Mission Inn Lights! Appreciate the variety of the one stop. Better than a food court...plus they have a few bars!

5 months agoFree parking with food lab validation. Machine right by entry door, super easy!! Had the Burria tacos, very delicious. Good selection of food. Fun atmosphere

6 months agoWe had Monty's and it was to die for. We had the chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, animal fries, and a strawberry shake. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh produce on the sandwiches, everything was fresh, the shake had great flavor.

7 months agoSMALLER FOOD HALL near HOTELS & VENUES! I'm increasingly enjoying the Riverside Food Lab, we came for a quick ice cream stop at Mixies on this visit after a show at the Fox Theatre next door! The exit to the theatre literally leads you to the front of the food lab! I got excellent vibes and great food during my visit. My ice cream was great and the indoor temperature wasn't outrageous like last time! The RFL staff were constantly cleaning and wiping tables. I appreciate cleanliness in busy public spaces like this. It's a smaller food hall, but it's definitely got food traffic. It's got Baba's Chicken (a Yelp favorite), Mixies (ice cream), Papa Smash (Anime Smash Burgers) and so much more. The Food Lab bar is pretty neat too! If you're looking for vegetarian/vegan options, they have them here! RFL is a family friendly place, I come here with my parents and we typically enjoy every visit when the AC is on lol. The RFL also has special gaming events in the next door Game Lab (an arcade) and weekly social events inside the Food Lab like Karaoke Night and paint-n-sips! Note: If you're staying in Downtown, the Food Lab is near a Hyatt Place and Holiday Inn! It's very accessible to get here by foot.

a year agoLots of different options next to the game lab, great for an evening with friends or family. I didn’t get a chance to try multiple locations within the food court, but Mia Vida Gordas wasn’t bad I personally prefer grilled chicken over shredded but it wasn’t bad. I ordered the el gordo burrito with chicken, service and atmosphere were pretty unique a time was certainly had 🎉💥💯❤️
