2 weeks agoHad my wife and we had dinner there Saturday night.ordered an assortment of appetizers, everything was very greasy. The mushrooms were ok fried pickles were greasy but decent flavor. We had ordered cheeseburgers, I ordered the blue cheese burger and it had no taste or seasoning. My wife said same for hers.i must say the check came to 55.00 and will make sure that we never go back.

3 weeks agoGreat food and large potions. Good service. I had the chef salad with steak and husband had the pork chop with fruit and fries. We took leftovers home. The drinks were good too.

a month agoLunch at Rockin S and S today. What a great experience. I was greeted with a smile from the bartender, Delaney Fraser. I placed a to go order with her. She offered me a drink while I waited. I had a fairly large order and she was very focused to make sure she got the order correct. My order was cooked to order down to how did I want my bacon cooked on my BLT. Wait time was short. Food looked fantastic. Can’t wait to get home and enjoy.

a month agoAte here today for the first time. Paisley was our waitress, and she is a fantastic waitress!! I had the grilled porkchop (really thin, thus kinda dry), grilled asparagus (YUM!), and a side salad (Really Fresh & Delish!) My hubby & MIL had the catfish plate "Special" (almost $23 a plate!). Live & learn - ask the price of "Specials" before ordering if not posted. We were kind of surprised with the pricing of a "Special." They did enjoy the fish and hushpuppies though. If we go again, I'd likely get a large salad as that was the best in my opinion! Hubby would like to try a burger, too.

a month agoI just visited the restaurant a day before I sat and ate, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They greeted me with open arms and welcomed me into a warm beautiful restaurant like I was family. Everything is fresh with nothing frozen and its all cooked to order. The chef came out personally and made me feel like I was at home. If you're in quitman or not, stop on in and get a plate. Ask for Mrs. Delaney as your server, she gone get you right.

a month agoJona, our server, was pleasant and professional. She answered all of our questions and appeared to enjoy working at this restaurant. Everyone we came into contact with was great. The food was tasty, hot on arrival, and generous portions. We had the Pot Roast and Chicken Fried Steak. We'll definitely visit again and hope for Jona to be there!

a month agoPleasantly surprised. Usually, places like this are mediocre at best. Not the case here. I had the Farmhouse burger and it's the best burger I have had in a while. Can't go wrong with Waygu beef. Candice was our waitress and she was very pleasant. She was there everyone we needed her and she interacted with my daughter really well. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Side note. If you sit outside, it's quite loud. There is a busy intersection.

a month agoTravelled from Sulphur Springs to have an afternoon outing with my family and had the most wonderful waitress (Candice Mochman) who took the time to make sure my 9 month old daughter had a nice experience. The food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
