See All ReviewsThe place didn't look very flattering but yall, the food was amazing. We had the 3 meat plate Brisket sausage and ribs. Gorge staight beans outstanding 👌. I loved it over Daniel's
Bbq chicken was bad… dry and seemed like it was reheated in the microwave. Sausage plate looked like a kids serving and was dry. Prices are very high, especially by the pound— the sign is misleading and is for half pound not pound like every other bbq place Ribs and brisket and beans were really good. Restaurant needs work… hard to even find entrance and building is a maze. Owner/manager doesn’t seem friendly
I was so excited when I heard that Roosters was back open. I went by on my way home to grab a bite and take home with me. I got the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, creamed corn and Banana pudding to go. I waited a while which was fine but I ended up with a very dry hamburger Patty that I think was left from lunch and they threw some onions on it. They did not have any Brown gravy, so they gave me cream gravy, which wasn't too bad. The mashed potatoes were nasty, they were so runny, I could drink them. The cream corn was not bad and the banana pudding was so runny I could drink it, so I put it in the refrigerator to see if it would firm up and it didn't, so I did sit there and eat some of it like soup and it was good, but it was not pudding. I paid $22 which is ridiculous for what I got. It makes me sad because I loved the Rooster and I hate to see a business not do well but the food is terrible and I will not be going back.
