See All ReviewsAbsolutely disappointed!! Traveling over 13000 miles, seen said restaurant on map and was like hey it’s in Texas; it must be good!? Well I was completely shocked! Ordered their Asada burrito. Ask the young lady, what comes on it? She says, the meat and cheese.. like for realll that’s not a burrito!! So I asked for some refried beans and avocado. 🤦🏽♀️ it has hardly any meat, and had guacamole not just avocado. Wasn’t told anything about that, what if I was allergic to tomatoes that was in the guacamole?? It was such a small burrito for 10$ Never would I stop there again! Nor suggest it anyone!! I’m from chitown WE KNOW HOW TO MAKE A REAL BURRITO!!! Only good thing I got out of stopping there was to see a cutie pie calico kitty, he was sun bathing on the table outside. Waste of time and money! Unfortunately forgot to take a picture.
Fantastic atmosphere for your fur baby. We ate inside no issues, were asked if we needed water for them. The food was delicious and served quickly. It is worth the 20 miles out of Amarillo to go eat with your dog! Stop in see them! If I could give them ten stars I would.
Mediocre at best, and even that is generous. We were driving through and stopped because of the reviews. My husband’s burrito had some weird choppy chicken that had weird texture, my flautas were tiny and overcooked and flavorless - not worth anywhere near the price. Our kids hamburgers were better than the Mexican food we had, and those weren’t even that great. Really crappy Mexican food for Texas that is supposed to have great Mexican. The sopapillas were way too heavy on the cinnamon and everything was just not that good. So glad we’ll never drive through Vega again and have to stop for a meal. This might be great for locals in a tiny town who don’t know any better. Don’t fall for the positive reviews like we did. Keep driving and go somewhere else.
