Best Sunday Brunch in Marshall! Kids loved the tres leches french toast (all 3 said it was the best French toast they've ever had) and the bold, savory, spicy Hamburguesa de chorizo is a must try and was a highlight for us on the brunch menu
Love the feel of history in the building. Food was amazing! Sydney W. Gave an amazing service! My wife and I will be back every time we visit family in Marshall
It is a nice-looking restaurant with a Mediterranean flair in decor, but that is all it has going for it. It is advertised as Tex-Mex, but a more genuine description is Italian-Mex. The salsa tasted like pizza sauce, and the enchiladas had no seasonings...not even salt. The lime rice was cooked to a nearly crispy al dente with little to no flavor. Everything looked very pretty, but that is what you're paying for, pretty plating. For the price, it isn't worth it.
All I can say is FABULOUS! We just left this restaurant and everything from the service to the food was absolutely incredible. Our server, Brianna was an absolute sweetheart and cheers to the chef because that was some of the most delicious food we have had in a long time! We will definitely be back!
Invited by a promotion during Octoberfest we came for dinner. You enter the historic building through oak framed glass doors into a bilevel restaurant with a bar located in the back. Low lighting, dark accents, and streamlined decor make for an intimate atmosphere. Although they we were understaffed and very busy the food was very good, the service was great and we enjoyed our first dining experience.
The only thing wrong with this place is that I just now found out about it. The food was outstanding, starting with their house made salsa and tortilla chips. Y.U.M. The entrees were fantastic, and the desserts looked wonderful, but we didn't have room for any, so we'll have to eat fewer chips next time. The prices are also very reasonable We will absolutely be back!
I had a side of the cilantro lime rice. The texture was perfect. It did take us an hour to get out food, but we're fairly certain it's because the chef was going through a bad break-up with our waitress and was doing his best to sabotage her.
It is great that Marshall has a place like this! The appetizers and drinks were AMAZING, the tacos were okay. Our server was great. The atmosphere was nice but a little loud. The only negative was that the food took a really long time to come out, but they are new and it's the holidays so hopefully that will change.
