a week agoWhat a find! Passing through town and decided to stop and so glad I did. Food was top notch country cooking and the service was excellent. Highly recommend you pay them a visit!

a month agoGreat little place for country cooking. This your typical “Meat and 3” type place with a set menu for each day of the week. They also always have their standard menu that can be ordered from every day. Indoor and outdoor seating, and a casual atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places in Decatur.

2 months agoOkay love the people work there were cool and polite and friendly. I did what I want to try but she Introduced me to something new which might be new you which is Zucchini. Butter finger cake is to die for!! Hammer steak was good too!! Okay tasted a lil Bland like no season but added hot sauce it it was good so far good

3 months agoOmg!! Just tried today for the first time and when I tell you they did not disappoint!! Fried catfish and shrimp was simply delicious!! Baked beans and fried green tomatoes superb!!! And the butterfinger cake so freaking moist!!!!!! I will definitely be back!

3 months agoStaff was super welcoming and friendly. I visited after the lunch rush and there was only a handful of people eating inside and a couple with to-go orders so it was very quiet and clean. The food was amazing, it was cooked to order and did not take long at all. The portions are very large for what you pay. Will definitely be going back.

4 months agoFrom the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive, and the laid back vibe made it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal. Every dish we tried was outstanding and full of flavor.

7 months agoThis is by far my favorite lunch spot in Decatur right now! Everything I have had has been amazing. The pretzel salad being the very best I’ve ever had! The pot roast is spot on, the chicken and dumplings warms the heart and the friendly staff is the cherry on top!

7 months agoWe love to try small, non-franchise restaurants. We were in the area, googled restaurants and found this absolute gem! The fried catfish filet and oreo cake were fantastic! The atmosphere is very quaint, comfortable and "feels like home." They have only been open a few months however are doing a fantastic job! Please visit if you are in the mood for good food at very reasonable prices. We'll done Rustic Rooster!!!
