Delicious hot dogs, adorable environment, great service. Cheboygan Brewing turned us Okies on to this gem, and they delivered! I love the snap when I bite into the Detroit dog, and the 'buns' are uniquely delicious. P.S. Don't skip the mac&cheese, or the Faygo (unless you have a beer). You're welcome! I love The Mitten! ❤
I visited Rusty Dogz for lunch while visiting Cheboygan and was impressed by the food, staff, and service. They had many options for their gourmet hotdogs, even a veggie dog. They were served in dog dishes which was very unique. They also had a large selection of drinks including many flavors of Faygo. They also served Faygo floats. The people working were very friendly and we discussed the hotdog statue outside and the colorful artwork on the walls. They also had a large selection of shirts. I ordered a Detroit Dog with Mac and cheese and it was a great combo.
The Hawaiian hot dog and macaroni and cheese were phenomenal! The service was also excellent. The atmosphere was great. It's an all around fantastic place. Will definitely be back when in town. Also highly recommend the place.
