See All ReviewsAbsolutely loved this little hole in the wall. Great flounder (2 large pieces), stewed tomatoes and I believe homemade onion rings. Large portions. Highly recommend when in the area. Had alot of togo orders go out while we ate in.
Amazing atmosphere for the small town diner feel, really made me feel like I was back in Texas. Quality service, very well done food, and a wonderful hole in the wall to stop and enjoy lunch. The country fried steak & potatoes are absolutely amazing.
We were starving on Friday morning after Christmas driving back from the airport in Baltimore and found this Local home cooking diner tucked back off of 29 near the Goodwill in Ruckersville. You need to look for the big signs to go behind the building that is punned for their location. It was a classic little community meeting space with the feel of the 70s and 80s. Clean, simple, cute country. Jam packets and little half & half containers on the table with the condiments. Fabulous home fries, and crispy bacon perfect over easy eggs. They had some French toast specials with fresh fruit, which my son really enjoyed, with a choice of pattie or link sausages which is pretty rare these days. Our server was delightful and food pretty quick.
