10 months agoI took my wife and daughter out for lunch today only to find our regular spot was closed for the weekend. Very disappointed she googled to find an alternative to satisfy her craving. She found Sabor and it was closer to home so we headed that way. First impression was it was in an old service station converted to a restaurant. Cute and easy to find with plenty of parking. We walked in and were immediately welcomed with a warm hello. The place was very clean and simple. Pictures of the food was on the walls to help you decide what to eat. We ordered our meal at the counter and took a seat to soak in the moment. Within a few minutes they brought out the drinks which were amazing. Some, if not the best horchatta I have ever tasted. Probably 5 to 10 minutes later our food arrived smoking hot and so delicious it was almost unreal. We have been to many central American restaurants in our 16 years together and have never been so happy that our regular spot was closed. I think they have won over our hearts and stomachs. And most of all renewed my happy place to make my girls smile! Keep up the great work.

2 years agoAmazing delicious Central American food. 10/10 would try again definitely the best in Kansas City and in the USA. Staff is friendly food is hot and fresh place is clean. Truly above and beyond not many places like it

4 years agoFirst of all, an immediate warning sign was that it was 12:30pm and there were zero customers. I placed an order online, paid for it, went to pick it up, and the gentleman behind the counter said he couldn't make it. He wasn't willing to help me get something else or help me get my money back. Will not go back. Don't know why they want to turn away business.

8 years agoThe steak tacos. My gosh delicious. Nice place to grab a bite. Food is cook fresh to order. A little language barrier but their so nice I don't care. I recommend this place, oh and the steak tacos.......
