See All ReviewsHusband and I actually ended up at Sahara Café by complete accident. We walked into the wrong place and it turned out to be the best “mistake” we could’ve made. From the second we walked in, the service was unmatched. You can immediately feel the energy inside it’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely inviting. The kind of place where you feel taken care of without it being forced. And the food? Incredible. The portions are HUGE, packed with flavor, and honestly very reasonably priced for what you get. Every bite tasted fresh and made with care. If you’re in Manitou and wondering where to eat, stop in and check it out. We’re so glad we did.
Little old time feel cafe with beautiful Turkish lamps. The hot sage tea was very good. The cold sage tea has less flavor due to the ice. Shared the messe plate. It was enough for the two of us. They also sell ice cream, coffee, and smoothies. The Turkish coffee was very good and has a high caffeine content.
Awesome restaurant. Very authentic food and appropriately priced. I would eat here again if in the area. Staff were very attentive. Only negative would be single onsite bathroom. Nice ambiance.
