Bought a bottle of soy milk yesterday from Saigon Cho Ba Hue. When I opened it at home, it was already stale — sour and lumpy. Undrinkable. I brought it back this morning to let the owner know. The younger staff member took the bottle, then started talking with others in Vietnamese. I have no idea what was said because nothing was explained to me. I waited 10 minutes. The young man who took my bottle got busy with other tasks. An older man peeked through the double doors, then disappeared. When I asked for an update, the young man just shrugged. No apology, no refund, no replacement. I left feeling ignored and disrespected. Businesses should stand behind what they sell. Ignoring a customer with a legitimate complaint about spoiled food is unethical and unsafe. I’ll be filing a report with the BBB and warning others so they don’t have the same experience.
the best lemongrass chili tofu you’ll find, all at a great price in an inviting, sunny yellow interior. a must visit when you’re in the area!
