I really wanted to love this place. The food itself is good, but unfortunately the service completely overshadows the experience. They appear extremely overwhelmed, and it shows at every step. Orders are taken via text message, phone, and in person, but there is no clear system to manage them. When you walk in, there’s visible confusion—no names are taken for orders, no order numbers, and staff are often unsure which food belongs to which customer. It quickly becomes a disorganized and frustrating experience. On top of that, orders are frequently incorrect or missing items, which has happened more than once. When you’re already waiting, it’s frustrating to discover parts of your order didn’t make it into the bag. Pricing is another issue. Some items are significantly overpriced for the portion size. For example, I ordered the shrimp complete for $25 and received five very small shrimp (literally dime-sized). That price-to-portion ratio is hard to justify. There’s potential here because the food has flavor, but until they streamline their ordering process, improve accuracy, and reassess pricing, it’s hard to recommend.

Coming from new york my mom suggested this place. This place is so lovely, nice quiet intimate setting. The staff is so attentive, very upbeat attitude so welcoming. The food was a 10/10 everything was fresh and the wait was not long which I appreciated haitian food can take a bit. Seasoned well we ordered a whole platter called fanm jacmel enough for party of 3 and there was still food left, one of the best pikliz ive ever had. Very well served. Please come to NY guys!!!!
