6 months agoGreat place to breakfast and lunch! Got the order of mini tacos two of asada and two of pastor with a half and half sweet tea. Charro beans on the side. The tacos were really good! The atmosphere is great! A local spot for sure! Highly recommend this place! A demás son paisanos de Tlaza! Always a pleasure to support local family owned businesses! Mucho éxito para ustedes!

7 months agoMe and my husbands go to spot ,great food and prices ! We had the barbacoa it was delicious very tender and juicy and not very fatty at all, our waiter Javier is very friendly and fast and attentive, for all the food in the pic was $22 - 1 bean and cheese 2 Barbacoa with avocado 1 torta of barbacoa with avocado (bread was amazing so soft ) 2 can sodas and complimentary chips and salsa

7 months agoFirst time trying this place. The staff was very friendly. The food was good, served fresh&hot very well priced, will be coming back.

a year agoWent early afternoon 1030a on a saturday. Most of the tables probably 9 or 10 were taken with one waitress and another guy helping with serving food and working the register. The breakfast plate was okay, pancakes were good but the bowl of menudo was very bland. They give you the limes onions and cilantro with also two little plastic cups of what i believe was comino or another mexican spice and what i think is chili flakes or something similar. adding all the extras really didnt help the taste of the menudo sadly. Waitress handled all the tables pretty well.

3 years agoCustomer service is phenomenal! Tacos & omelettes are delicious. Tortillas are light & fluffy not doughy. The potatoes are nice & crispy. Bacon was flavorful & crispy. The beans are definitely homemade & not from a can! Their omelettes are generously filled & they use the “good” cheese (it’s nice & creamy). Coffee & tea were well balanced as well. We have found our FAVORITE place to eat breakfast in Converse.

6 years agoBreakfast tacos were great, wait staff polite, and service very fast! I took off a star because they included a very sharp steak knife on a kids pancake plate under the pancake. I didn't notice it until my 2 yr old pulled it out and wielded it like a sword.
