See All ReviewsWell I have always loved salt lickers and we used to go over with a group of 10. Not anymore. Everytime we go they are out of at least 1 sometimes 2 of what our group orders. So tonight they were out of fried shrimp and Hallee, our server said we could get coconut shrimp or popcorn shrimp so my husband chose it. Hallee was rude and failed to tell us they charge am additional $3.99 for it also you get a side with the seafood combo,. On the corn it plainly says 2 4" corn cobs, you only get one. When we questioned it she never asked about it as she said she would do. We ordered tea with extra ice, it had very little ice and when questioned about that, she said it was fresh and melted the ice which was a lie. We found that out when we tried to get the $3.99 back . The manager said it wasn't true and she could not refund the $3.99. So , she said she could give the tip back and we happily excepted. We're not one to complain but you would think they would plan better so they would not continually run out of food. Tonight was the end for us and the other 8 have already had enough. What's sad, I was there on my birthday last year with a large group when it had happened once. Go figure, it's my birthday again. Lesson learned!
Place was pretty good first time and wasn't disappointed. I hade pound of shrimp boiled and the salmon rice plate. The fried fish looked great 5 people dine in
We are in the process of moving from Wisconsin to Livingston,TX so we stopped in Grand Saline for the night and ate here. We were met by awesome staff and great patrons. We had a lot of laughs and great conversation. I had never had crawfish and a patron offered me one and even showed me how to shuck and eat it! What a great experience!
