We were in the area visiting the Museum of the Bible and googled what DC was known for. It said the half smoked hotdog and Sammi was the only one with 5 stars. The hotdog was delicious. Me and my husband each had 2. Sammi was very kind and helpful. We would definitely come here again. It's a food cart but there are tables abd chairs across the street. Very nice atmosphere.
I usually don't eat hot dogs, but these are amazing! I’ve already had two. Highly recommend add the potatoes—it makes them even better!
Absolutely delicious! Sami served our group of 10 in less than 10 minutes, had regular and spicy (“half smoked”) hot dogs, with regular having normal and jumbo size, with all kinds of toppings like nacho cheese, homemade chile, sauerkraut, and the regular toppings like ketchup and mustard. Our kids loved it, Sami is smiling and personable - incredibly generous, and you can tell his almost 40 years doing this is incredible! About 10 minute walk from the U.S. Capitol, Sami’s hot dog car is on the sidewalk right in front of the Oroville Wright building for the DOT FAA, Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration. Thank you, Sami and the rest of the crew/family that helps make this hot dog cart available and satisfying for us!
