Perfect breakfast spot before a trip to the Grand Canyon! We arrived at 8:00 AM and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious, especially the country fried steak and potatoes. My son also gave the Nutella crepes two thumbs up! A little pricey, but definitely worth a stop.
Breakfast served all day! Got myself a delicious Nutella crape with strawberry and bananas along with a fried chicken dinner at 2:00 pm . Sharing my pictures.
I just tried Sammy's Cafe in Calimesa. I had the pot roast with vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn bread. The roast was tender and delicious, mashed potatoes and gravy with a good potato flavor and meaty tasting brown gravy, the colorful vegetables were cooked perfectly and tasted great! The corn bread was moist with good flavor. Serving size on the senior dinner was generous. My father-in-law had a generous portion of seasoned salmon with the same sides I had chosen, also from the senior menu. Sammy's is not in a major shopping center, but is easy to get to and worth going to for a great dining experience.
