See All ReviewsI had been coming here for years with my family, and it is a very cozy spot for some delicious and authentic Korean food. The tteokbboki is probably some of the best I had in Lakewood and the yakisoba was so good I ate the whole plate. I came on the last day before the owner was going to close the restaurant, and it was a good meal. Sad to see samwon go though 🥹
As a Korean, I am deeply upset and disappointed in the food I got today. I've been feeling a bit under the weather so my wife went out to pick me up some ox tail bone soup from this shop. It was awful. 1. It smelled. Foul, pungent, possibly rotted. 2. It tasted just, bad. The kimchi was also not good. I couldn't even eat it. I threw it away after trying to eat for a good 10mins. 3. 21$ for just this one item is absurd, made even worse for how god-awful the smell and taste was. If you're wanting for good Korean ox tail soup go somewhere else. I suggest MakChang Drama. That place tastes better and doesn't smell awful. I'm sorry, I hate leaving bad reviews, but I could not forgive this as a Korean
A cozy hole in the wall spot full of warmth, good food, and beautiful plant life. Service was friendly, and our server took care to make sure he fully understood our order and got everything just right. Our Korean food came out quickly and it was all delicious! Pleasantly surprised by this little gem.
